GOOD NEWS CLUBS

There are 21 elementary schools in Hampton, VA. Currently, there are only three active Good News Clubs in the district. See our Locations page for a list of active Good News Clubs in the city of Hampton.

Our Objectives

• Expand the ministry to reach more kids
• Giving every child the opportunity to hear and respond to the Good News of God’s love through Jesus Christ.
• Partner with area Churches – the Body of Christ working together
• Train and engage teenagers in evangelism to children first, then to peers
• Support and equip the church outreach teams with mentoring and outstanding children’s resources

Child Evangelism Fellowship® was founded in 1937 by Rev. J. Irvin Overholtzer, a man with a God given vision for boys and girls in need of the Savior. His vision continues to live on today.

CEF reaches the children with the Gospel so that “not one of these little ones should perish.” (Matthew 18:14)

CEF is presently involved in over 170 countries, with over 1,400 staff members. Our emphasis overseas is to develop national workers and leaders. CEF is active in every state and province in North America.

“And they brought young children to him,
that he should touch them:
and his disciples rebuked those that brought them.
